SMM Develops Dealer Manuals for Canon Financial Services

SMITHTOWN, N.Y., July 2010 — Canon Financial Services, Inc., (CFS) is a wholly owned subsidiary and the financing arm of Canon U.S.A. Located in Mt. Laurel, NJ, CFS finances leases and per-copy rentals of Canon digital copiers and related equipment and services through a national network of independent dealers. CFS has engaged SMM to rewrite and design their Independent Dealer Manual and standard leasing forms.

This manual is a comprehensive resource that instructs dealers in all aspects of working with CFS. It covers everything from bidding and pricing, to applying for financing, writing leases, billing policies, and the upgrading and termination of leasing agreements. The project was awarded based on the success of earlier design work SMM completed for CFS.
